This year, with the help of many, including especially our Belmont Heights Community Association, I was able to spearhead the adoption of four local families through the Salvation Army Adopt-a-Family Christmas Program.
We broke our record, raising over $2,000, allowing us to deliver several boxes of gifts (clothes, toys, toiletries) as well as generous Ralph’s food and Target gift cards to four families in need of help this season! Those grateful parents as well as nine children, ages 1 to 11, woke up very happy Christmas morning because of your generosity—it is much appreciated!
Thanks also to those who donated to the Salvation Army Christmas toy drive at the annual Holiday party.
I hope 2020 brings you much joy and also brings more prosperity and security to those who struggle to make ends meet.
