As the City looks at updating the general plan and works toward finalizing the "2030 Plan", City staff want the plan to reflect what residents want in their neighborhoods. With that in mind, and as a follow-up to a previous meeting, Steve Gerhardt and City staff did a presentation on the existing general plan land use designations and the concept of "placetypes". Placetypes essentially talks about neighborhoods and how they should look; it is important to note that this concept is not intended to change residential zoning unless agreed to by residents of the neighborhood.
